November 27, 2025 – True Corporation’s network management team, together with engineers and network operations staff, has continued on-the-ground efforts in Hat Yai to support residents affected by the severe flooding. The operation is being carried out in close coordination with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Captain Thamanat Prompow, in his capacity as Director of the National Disaster Water Management Center, along with Mr. Trairat Viriyasirikul, NBTC Deputy Secretary-General and Acting Secretary-General, the Royal Thai Armed Forces, and relevant government agencies in a unified cross-sector effort to address the crisis facing Hat Yai.

As part of its emergency response, True Corporation has opened selected mobile base station sites on elevated ground as temporary safe spaces for the community, providing mobile coverage and battery charging facilities to support evacuees during relocation and other emergency situations. The company has also deployed Cell on Wheels (COW) units, expanded Free WiFi services, and set up free charging points at key locations, including mobile switching centers, Hat Yai Hospital, evacuation shelters, and the Khlong Toei community in Kho Hong subdistrict, Songkhla province, to maintain continuous network connectivity.

True Corporation’s network teams are operating around the clock to restore and stabilize signals in flood-affected areas, while closely monitoring conditions in the southern border provinces where heavy rainfall continues. In parallel, True Volunteers and the management team have joined forces to pack and deliver survival kits containing power banks, dry food, and drinking water to affected communities. The company has also opened a power bank donation point at True Shop, Ground Floor, True Ratchada Building, with all donations to be distributed through the Mirror Foundation to those in critical need in Hat Yai. These efforts underscore True’s commitment to standing alongside the public and ensuring communication access as a vital lifeline during times of crisis.
