The purpose of the visit is to ensure that all support measures are precise, effective, and aligned with the key question: “How can everyone be supported to return to normal life as swiftly as possible?”

Extending Support to Restore 18 CONNEX ED–True Schools in Songkhla

As catastrophic flooding brings severe damage across Southern Thailand, the education sector remains a foremost priority for True Corporation. For more than 17 years, True has been dedicated to advancing education through the power of digital technology, driving progress via the True Plookpanya Project and its partnership with the CONNEX ED Foundation to expand equitable learning opportunities for children in remote areas. This commitment extends to the 18 CONNEX ED schools in Songkhla under True’s stewardship, where more than 3,500 students have been affected by the current crisis.

True Corporation has been closely monitoring the situation, working in coordination with ICT Talents and local community members to assess the extent of the damage. Upon identifying that Ban Bang Faep School in Hat Yai District and Ban Han School in Bang Klam District had suffered severe damage and required urgent assistance, immediate action was taken to procure essential teaching and learning materials. This includes 50 ready-to-use notebook computers, dining tables, school uniforms, and sports equipment for Ban Bang Faep School. In addition, preparations are underway to deliver digital learning resources and teaching materials to all 18 CONNEX ED schools. The primary objective is to enable teachers and students to return to their classrooms as quickly as possible.
