January 9, 2026 – True Move H Universal Communication Co., Ltd. (TUC) has paid the sixth installment of 1,881,488,000 baht (including VAT) for its 700 MHz spectrum license to the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). The company also placed letters of guarantee from financial institutions for the remaining spectrum fee payments, in line with the license conditions, while continuing to develop Thailand’s digital infrastructure.
The payment covers the 700 MHz band, specifically 703–713 MHz (uplink) paired with 758–768 MHz (downlink), which True Move H is licensed to use for telecommunications services.

The 700 MHz band is a key low-band spectrum that plays an important role in enhancing telecommunications network quality, with the following advantages:
- Suitable for both 5G and 4G services
- Provides long-range propagation and wide-area coverage
- Offers strong building penetration and resilience against obstacles
- Enhances signal stability in urban areas, high-rise buildings, rural areas, and remote locations
Currently, TUC holds a total of 20 MHz of 700 MHz spectrum, comprising two paired blocks:
- 703–713 MHz (uplink) and 758–768 MHz (downlink)
- 713–723 MHz (uplink) and 768–778 MHz (downlink)
These 700 MHz spectrum holdings are being used to support both 5G and 4G services for TrueMove H and dtac customers. This deployment expands network coverage and improves user experience nationwide. Continued investment in the 700 MHz band enables smoother and more stable high-speed internet access, supporting a wide range of everyday digital activities, including video streaming, live broadcasts, online commerce, remote meetings, and distance learning, while strengthening network readiness for future digital services and technologies.
