The company has expedited inspections of its 5G, 4G, and Wi-Fi networks around Sanam Luang and the Grand Palace in preparation for the opening to the public to pay respects to the Royal Remains of Her Majesty at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall from November 9, 2025, onwards.
Executives and network team members from True Corporation Plc., led by Mr. Khurrum Ashfaque, Chief Network Officer; Mr. Jirachai Kunakorn, Deputy Chief Technology Office; and Mr. Thongchai Kwanphut, Head of Network Rollout and Field Operation, together with their teams, have conducted on-site inspections of network readiness. The company has deployed three Cell on Wheels (COW) units, installed 24 additional base stations, and inspected 52 Wi-Fi hotspots to facilitate communication for members of the public traveling to pay respects to the Royal Remains.
In addition, True Corporation has fine-tuned event parameters to align with real-time usage patterns, strengthened signal along surrounding transportation routes, and assigned engineers at the Business Network Intelligence Center (BNIC), which employs AI systems to manage and monitor signal quality in real time. These efforts aim to ensure that communications in the area operate efficiently, orderly, and in a manner befitting the solemnity of this occasion of collective mourning, demonstrating the utmost loyalty and gratitude for Her Majesty The Queen Mother’s immeasurable grace and benevolence.
