True Reaffirms its Commitment to a Safe, Inclusive Workplace through the “Bring Your Best” Club, Powered by Real Employee Voices at the “True Colors” Event

20 June 2025

True Corporation places strong importance on every aspect of diversity, firmly believing that it fuels creativity and opens doors to new and varied opportunities. Regardless of differences in race, gender, age, or other dimensions, all forms of diversity are valuable. When brought together, they become the foundation for positive change. According to a report by McKinsey, a leading global strategy consulting firm, organizations that prioritize Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) have a 20% higher chance of driving innovation and can boost employee engagement by more than 12%.

“Bring Your Best” – When employee voices drive policies that go beyond paper

It’s not just about Pride Month…True, a leading Thai tech company, has long upheld a clear stance on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, grounded in respect for human rights and equal treatment for all employees. But what if employees had more than just support, what if they had a real platform to express their identities, share meaningful insights, and help shape policies that truly reflect their needs? That’s exactly what the Bring Your Best Club represents, a powerful employee-led initiative that champions a safe space for all forms of diversity. It empowers people to be their best, most authentic selves, engage in shared interests, and connect through diverse perspectives. Most importantly, it brings out each person’s potential to co-create a workplace culture built on respect, inclusion, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Finding Inspiration in Every Shade of Thought at “True Colors

Because everyone brings their own unique color to the workplace, the Bring Your Best Club hosted the “True Colors” event, an inspiring space for employees to learn and share personal stories through the lens of real role models. Khun Sarinra Wongsuppaluk, Chief Human Resources Officer of True Corporation Plc, shared “At True, we’re committed to creating a happy, safe and inclusive workplace where everyone can truly ‘Bring Your Best.’ We believe in unlocking the full value of diverse talents, supported by fair and inclusive benefits for all employee groups, including the LGBTQ+ community. These include 30 days of leave for gender affirmation surgery, 6 days of leave to support marriage equality, and this year, a new addition of Birthday Leave for all employees.”

This event was also powerfully inspired by Khun Bunrod Areewong, the creator of a popular TikTok channel with over 300K followers, who shared his personal journey, “The turning point for me in overcoming physical disabilities and embracing my identity as part of the LGBTQ+ community started with learning to respect, love, and take pride in who I am. I had to fight for recognition and acceptance in society. If everyone practiced empathy, truly listened, and looked at the world through others’ perspectives, breaking free from outdated norms and embracing differences, our society would be a much more peaceful and livable place.”

Another inspiring voice was Khun Pirapon Polburee-Saxton, or Khun Namwan, a proud True employee, devoted mother, and member of the LGBTQ+ community. She shared a deeply moving story, “I’m proud to have overcome my fears and feel truly fortunate to work at True. Being part of the Bring Your Best Club has given me the space to be my authentic self, no need to hide. I have colleagues who understand, accept, and support me, which gives me the confidence to thrive in the workplace.”

And that’s not all! True Colors also provided a platform for employees to propose new ideas for workplace benefits. These suggestions will be gathered by the Bring Your Best Club and submitted to the company’s Welfare Committee, with the aim of turning them into real policies, creating a more inclusive and supportive work environment for everyone. The event wrapped up on a lively note with a charity auction featuring personal items from True’s executives, raising a total of 21,500 baht. All proceeds will be donated to the Autistic Thai Foundation to support individuals with autism.
